All donations are tax deductible and are used for direct support for families served by Ligdol V'Lifroach Child and Family Services.
 
Why donate to LVL? 

The services we provide enable a child to reach his or her true potential.  There are hundreds of children in our local community in need of our services but whose parents cannot afford to pay.

 
A recent story illustrates how our role in providing coordinated therapy tailored to the children’s needs allows us to identify other issues which may “fall between the cracks". Recently, a little girl receiving occupational therapy was not progressing as much as she should be – something was stopping her. Her therapist felt it was more an emotional issue than a physical one. When we spoke to the mother she felt the same but was not able to add another expense to the family in seeking counseling. An arrangement was made with the mother to pay a token amount per session (30 shekels a month – less than $10.00). It sounds so affordable but even this amount is difficult to pay yet crucial to our partnership with the family. The child is now dealing with many issues but generally feeling better about herself and her surroundings. As a result, we see her making progress with her school work and therapy.

In the USA: US Tax deductible contributions of at least $25.00 may be sent (and must be made payable) to PEF Israel Endowment Fund, Inc, 317 Madison Avenue, Suite 607, New York, NY 10017 with a note clearly stating that it be used for Ligdol v'Lifroach Child and Family Services.

1800 +   "Rakefet" Sponsorship Level
Sponsor a child – therapy assistance for children known to us or referred through chesed organizations and the welfare department in Bet Shemesh. Many of these children would otherwise fall through the cracks, while slowly failing in school without the correct intervention such as:
  • 1,800 NIS psychological evaluation
  • 1,200 NIS  didactic evaluation
  • Gold building block for Toy library and developmental playroom to help purchase computer games and furniture for the new facility.

Make your money work for us by helping us produce a short fundraising film about our invaluable work in the community. This kind of tzedakah can encourage many more people to give because of you. Not everyone can come to visit us here in Ramat Beit Shemesh to see our Center and hear what we do but we want as many people to know that the kids in need here and now, need their help. We would like to use this fundraising tool in overseas communities and share with others how we make a difference to so many children in Israel on a daily basis. The cost of producing such a film is upward of 20,000 shekels –consider making it a donation in honor or memory of a loved one - with your help we can make this a reality.
