Ligdol V'Lifroach is looking for volunteers to help us accomplish our goals.
Please contact us about joining our volunteer family.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
- program development: plan community outreach programs
- "big brother/sister" or "special saba/savta"-"adopt" a special needs child and his/her family, assist in therapy services at the center, in the child's gan/school or home
- Volunteer in the toy library once a week to help parents with selection and borrowing
- Fundraising : join our fundraising committee, host a fundraising event, plan a fundraising event
- Transportation: drive mothers and children to the center, when buses are a financial and logistical challenge

Why Hedva Mor volunteers her time …..
"I volunteered my time with Mercaz Rakefet because I love being around children. I wanted to use my organizational skills. I started by volunteering with the Pesach toy drive and then once all the toys came in I coordinated the volunteers to sort and catalogue the library.
I enjoy working with the staff at Mercaz Rakefet and feel that I am really part of making a difference to the kids in Ramat/Beit Shemesh through helping to make the Toy Library ready for use.
Here I can volunteer my time, close to home, helping children in my own community. I'd be happy to have others join me when the toy library opens."
