 Ligdol V’Lifroach Child and Family Services (LVL) was established to provide the opportunity for all children of the greater Bet Shemesh area to receive quality therapeutic and educational enrichment services, regardless of their ability to pay.
In Hebrew, Ligdol V’Lifroach means "to grow and to flourish", and at LVL, children with varying levels of developmental challenges find a warm, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to reach their potential.
LVL's professional staff and innovative programs allow children with varying developmental needs to overcome their challenges and thrive. The developmental challenges our children face vary from autism, down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy as well as milder challenges such as language delays, sensory processing disorders and handwriting difficulties.
At LVL, children can receive therapy and treatment through the Mercaz Rakefet Child Development Center or participate in one of LVL's special programs. Each child is seen in the context of his/her family and educational environment, and an appropriate treatment plan is created accordingly. Through individual therapies and group programs, children with these varying levels of developmental challenges are enriched and assisted.
Raising children with developmental differences is not an easy task. At LVL, we support parents in this challenge and guide them to be strong advocates for their child’s needs. Parents find an open door as well as educational opportunities to learn more about their child’s needs.
Often, quality therapeutic and educational enrichment services are available only to those families with the ability to pay for them. LVL works in conjunction with the various health funds, as well as the city's welfare department and charity organizations to ensure that all local children who need these services can receive them.
